Hey all,

I've had a 1tb hard drive sitting on my desk for quite a while now, and I'm running out of space on my primary HD so I thought 'why not'. I've installed it and Windows and BIOS certainly acknowledges that it's there, but it's not showing up with the other HDs in My Computer. Do I need to partition it or something? I've never really had to install Hard Drives before, and when I have, they've already been set up for use.

Any help would be great

On XP at least, Disk manager can display + format drives which are hidden elsewhere.

Again, on XP Right click my computer -> Manage -> Disks

No idea where it is on Vista / 7
