The evaluation kit for leadwerks required me to install an extra driver for it to run. Ever since this, 3d games will crash or have random floating triangles and will slow down performance before crashing. After it crashes, an error message saying 'display driver 'nvldkkm' (or something like that) has stopped responding and has recovered.' This is really irritating and also causes weird reflection problems in fpsc x10. There are triangles in fallout 3, slow performance after a while on quantum of solace, purple floors on css, and triangles on avatar and cod4. Please, help would be appreciated.

Update/reinstall GPU drivers and/or DirectX.

Did you restart your computer after the drivers installed?

What driver? Or did it automatically prompt you to update your existing [GPU] driver? (which seems more likely but correct me if I'm wrong)

OpenAL is for audio I thought... I wonder why that would affect graphics...

If you get mad and want to type something nasty about another person do this-Type what you want to say in the box then press ctrl-a and hit delete then type what you should say.

OpenAL is sound and doesn't even add or change system drivers, so that aint it.

Turns out it was a screwed up IDE cable that stopped working at the coincidental time. Also, Fpsc x10 was a corrupt update that patched mature version with non mature. No problems now.
