Today, at 1800 hs. i saw Robin Hood (Actually, its Robin Of The Hood)

and my opinion is that is a great movie for "Saturdays or Sundays"
It has a nice touch of drama and some humor too!

so..ill rate it 9/10

First, to all who want to see it, i can tell you this...forget all you know about it...simply because its not the RH we know (Oh he helps poor children kinda thing)

Secondly,Acting was really fluid and it really blend into the "Era" of the war between France and England

So thats my opinion...
I WANT YOU TO SEE IT!

and next step is...KICK-ASS

Russell Crowe... Yuck, I think he ruins Robin Hood, to be completely honest.

I saw it last week and thought it was complete rubbish. I understand what they were trying to do with regards to the story but I thought they failed to deliver an entertaining experience.

Also the accents of almost all the actors (not just Crowe) were horrendous. The guy who was supposed to be from Wales sounded like he'd never heard a Welsh accent in his life. What were these vocal coaches doing?

Yeah I think it looks stupid. I think Crowe just doesn't look the part. He looks like he should be down the pub on a Friday night watching the game - not acting a medieval hero.

I prefer the good old animated version thanks.

I reckon Elijah Wood would have played Robin well.

Sorry about the bad paint work... :p

If you see it as a comedy all the way through its actually pretty good. Yep im on about the accents, actions and general pulloff. It could have been so epic... Ohh an the other two films are going to be realesed soon-ish.

Who could have played Robin Hood well...?

Hmmm... How about an actual English person? *shock* *horror*

Seriously though, Hood is supposed to be the quintessential English folk hero. Casting Crowe is like... casting Simon Pegg as Zorro or something.

I get why Ridley Scott did it though - he did a decent job at Gladiator and was fairly convincing. That's only because they were effectively accent-less though - no one expected real Roman accents (or whatever the accent would have been). Here it's different because nationality is kind of important to the story.

It felt like they switched directors halfway through the movie... First half was funny and great plot build up... second half sputtered out with zero direction or vision... ok, let's go kill the french! yay! well.. that was easy.. now what? i guess we just end the movie...

it IS the robin hood we know, BEFORE he started helping poor children.

i loved the movie, iam so sick of all these experiments of what we can do with technology (ie Avatar and 2012, almost completly made with CG) therefore it was nice with a movie like this^^ very very good movie. i recommend it strongly...

I thought it was just an okay movie. It certainly wasn't anything special. Though I went in thinking it was going to be awesome action like Gladiator since it was the gladiator director and Russel Crowe. Awesome action was what I wanted to see but it wasn't awesome action

Signature's are stupid.

Cary Elwes was the bestest Robin Hood.

I don't plan on seeing this film. I'm not a fan of Russell Crowe. I think he is a bit of a doucher. And speaking of his accent...
