i'm using 2 logitech dual action gamepads with the following code:

both gamepad$(1) and gamepad$(2) = "Logitech Dual Action" which i think is causing the second controller to not work.

if this isn't the problem, then what is causing my second controller to not work?

You've missed that the checklist value b is also used to uniquely identify devices with identical names too.
