I upgraded from my old ATi Radeon 4550 to a GT 240 1GB (or even 2GB as my games say) and there's been nothing but trouble with the display since. I can't set my display to 1920x1080 when my TV is designed for HD 1080i and my ATi could run on 1080i. Secondly, I updated the driver today and my wallpaper slideshow has gone. I've tried editing the slideshow to show less or more pics, but nothing, the screen stays black. The image attached shows the problem with 1080i, and the red zones are to show where I cannot see on the screen (they show up fine on Paint.NET).
As you can see from the screenshot, there's not a lot of accessibility to my desktop or apps. Therefore, I have to annoyingly set the custom resolution to 1824x1020 which is what I'm using right now. I'll attach an image of that in the next post.
Are there any suggestions from anyone on how to fix this problem and use 1080i again? Thanks in advance

.
Also, when playing 'Zombies' on Call of Duty: World at War on 1280x720p, I cannot see the round number (bottom left hand side) nor my ammo/FPS rate (ammo bottom right, FPS rate top right). It's getting frustrating because this card was supposed to play new games with the best quality. Pah, why bother when it can't even work properly with HDMI 1080i or even 720p? It's a great card, I think the video quality is better than my ATi one, but the resolution is just dog-crap, I WANT TO WATCH SAW IN HD, NOT HALF-HD

!!! Come to think of it, sooner on, I'll post a comparison pic of my new nVidia card and my ATi one and you can see which is better (clearer).
