\\Please Take This Short Survey //

Would you download a 120 MB game if the game have only 3-4 levels and the game can be completed within an hour if a medium experienced FPS-Gamer plays it? If the game is a medium quality (3D) FPS game based on a real incident. Would you download it if you don't have unlimited broadband (it will cost you to download by how much MB's you download), would you?

This survey is very important to me, so please answer sincerely..

i think the only thing which would hold me back is:

iam usually very open to free games, i usually download them because indie developer are usually very good at thinking new, thinking outside the box, aside from big developer companies who seems to be afraid of that, and had rather keep to an worn out concept in which they know theyre gaining money from.

but on topic again: my general answer is yes, if "i had unlimited broadband."

I have unlimited broadband - seriously, hardly anyone uses the premium service in my are, so I often get much more than the 50mb I pay for (up to 205+!). Anyhoo, I'd be happy to download any game that looks interesting - I'm not a graphics snob, but the game would have to have acceptable graphics. By acceptable, well I haven't seen a FPSC game that doesn't have acceptable graphics.

It depends on the subject matter, nobody plays games to be preached to, or because political views somehow attract them. I would most likely avoid anything too political, too vague, too depressing or too personal. I would love to see some old 80's SAS missions made into games, that sort of thing. Massacres are a no go area, at least not if you want to publicise your game here.

By all means, yes. If it's based on a real incident then in my opinion that makes it all the more interesting: most games are fictitious but it would be interesting to see a game that was more like a documentary or a chance to get inside the person's psyche. The Columbine High Massacre game was very good at this... all very disturbing...

How about you tell us what game this is and someone else can give you feedback about it?

It depends on the game for me. A "based on a real incident" would have to be a pretty bizarre real incident to encourage me to download and play it. I'm not saying other wouldn't want it, I'm just giving my outlook on gaming that I prefer.

WWI? WWII? No. I've played enough Call of Duties and Medal of Honors. For real world stuff, I can turn on the news or watch a youtube video.

I'm with Van B on this. The pay-per-megabyte internet connection might hold me back, but other than that, I would download it for sure.
