I find the white background strains my eyes after a while so I changed my syntax highlighting around a bit...

Now it's much easier to read . I bet there are some interesting colours going on in some people's editors so post a pic if you think you've got a good or strange set up.

Well, you got me experimenting, and I found that a black background and white text is easier to read.

I usually keep the default colour scheme from the original DBPro editor. I like it, it's generally easier on the eyes than black on white.

Also, i went through a phase of white on black, after a few hours of coding the image will burn into the back of your eyes. Not nice.

I like the Visual Studio 2010 theme for DBP, along with some other minor changes.

Anyways, I like good ol' fashioned blue keywords, reddish/purplish strings and stuff, and green comments on a greyish background.

^^the three IDE's I regularly use (synergy, eclipse, and visual studio express '08)

I've found the following to be really easy on my eyes:

Haha BlitzMax actually. I say that because Blitz is considered the biggest competitor for TGC.

haha, Oldschool Peter

I generally stick with what Synergy comes with automatically, though i have changed it in the past so that functions appear the same as native commands.

I stole TheComet's syntax highlighting. I've always liked darker backgrounds because white actually hurts my eyes if I stare at it for too long (over an hour). Black doesn't have that effect for me (but this may be due to the fact that I've started taking 10 minute breaks for every one hour of coding/general computing).

Mine's pretty darn similar to Comets, but I'm really liking AndrewT's. I thought it looked familiar then he said Blitz!
