kinda hard to tell y ou without showing you, but anyway.

draw a picture of several frames
use create animated sprite to load and cut the picture
use play sprite outside of your main loop to set the sprites framerate, and start and stop frames
use sprite inside of your loop for the place ment of the animated sprite.

that's about all there is to it, but it does have a few bugs, crech the bug forum.

Could you show me with snippets, please? I sort of had the same question and it would be helpful to see some code. Thank you.

I've got DB Classic and PS Skillz and I'm not afraid to use um!

Have a look in the Bug forum - there *are* problems with animated sprite, but you'll also see all the information you need to get it working for you there.

I already figured it out, but thankyou. I'm using DBC, but I imagine the code will work in DBPro. I show you how in this post:

Mine is the very last post, but I made sure to explain everyting very well. If you have any questions just ask me here or there

I know how to cycle through bmp frames to create an animation, but is it possible to use a gif as a sprite to save the program's speed or mental stability of the coder? I know the LOAD ANIMATION works with gifs, but I need to manipulate my anim past the Animation commands.
