I don't trust these cheap editions. I own a WD external HDD and I am happy that I gave 10€ more. Works perfectly.

Meh, I try not to bother with external drives if I can help it.

Iomega definitely makes nice looking enclosures, but I never fully trusted their products after the zip drive click catastrophe.

I too have a WD external drive(400gb), which gets rather warm and has poor air circulation, but somehow it's worked flawlessly for years.

you can buy a cheap chinese 100-160 gig for less than 50 bucks.
