well, I went on the forums just now, and the first thing I saw was an ad at the top of the page that had never been there. I know that TGC uses ads as a source of money, but it just looks sort of bad at the top, and gets in the way. There are already ads at the bottom and in threads, I think that should be enough... That's just my opinion, TGC might have a reason for doing it, but does anyone else agree?

I always find how the ads come up to be humorous.

Yeah, I guess, but it's not like there's much we can do.

^^What he said.

Firefox has a charm of an adblocker, I never see any at the top of this page.

They don't get in my way anymore than everyone's signatures do. You just need to scroll down a few extra times to get them out of the way. Not too much of a hassle. I find Youtube's advertisements that play before certian videos to be a bit more of a nuiscene. But even then, all you have to do when one pops up is press the F5 key, and it cuts straight to the video

I don't know what gets so much on peoples nerces about ads. They are there, and I don't bother about them too much. The ads before YouTube and Nostalgia Critic videos are more annoying. But those images don't hurt too much.

Yeah, images don't bother me much, but video ads are a pain in the buttocks. Also, ads that pop up and cover the middle of a page, and you have to wait until they are gone are also a pain.

I was watching some Zach Galifianakis' 'Between Two Ferns' last night on youtube and each one had an ad for some dumb looking movie.

Thanks for the tip, Kravenwolf. I never thought of doing that. I would have just assumed I'd have to watch the ad again if I refreshed.
