I am shocked no one else posted about this.

There is a new MMO coming out called Vindictus. The game looks amazing. It features modern graphics, physics, bloodshed, item customization, and a bunch of other features. It is also one of the first MMO's I have seen to feature real time combat in an RPG Action format. But, what tops it all, is it is free.

What do you guys think?

Fantasy MMO? Haven't seen one of those in a while...*yawn*...

There's as much innovation in the MMO industry as in the Pork pie industry. I also guarantee I will have to tank myself up on Red Bull and grind through all nighters to get anywhere just like on WoW, Runescape, Guild Wars, etc, etc...

Have you taken a look at the game play videos at all?

I am looking forward to using creature to kill other creatures. Or just toss a watermelon at them...

Unless you get a good guild and some friends, WoW gets boring by level 40.

You can get creatures that accompany you on WoW can't you? And Guild Wars, and Runescape...etc...

Then again, I find most MMOs too grindy for my liking...

I mean creatures as in pick up a live creature and hurl it to others. I can't say about grinding, it is not released yet. The game play resembles Fable a lot in my opinion.

This is the first MMO I have seen to use physics, blade accurate bloodshed, armor damage (damage is visible, not just in numbers), use almost anything as a weapon, and many other features I have yet to see in an MMO. The quality I have seen out of it is top notch, definitely for a free game.

I'm stuck. I keep clicking the verification link in my email, but it won't verify my account...

I saw stuff about this game earlier, a week or two ago, and it's one that I'm definitely interested in.

Getting my account verified is annoying me though.

[Edit] Great to know that until you verify your email you have no access to customer support or nexon forum use that I can see. So I can't even tell them that no matter how many accounts with how many emails I make, I can't verify the email used. Brainpansplosion.

By chance, what country do you live in Insanity Complex? I know this is Nexon NA, so if you aren't in NA, it may not work. That's weird, my friend just made an account with Nexon and it worked fine... Try using IE (ew...) and see if that works.

The game is not out yet, but they are taking Beta applicants. I signed up, and hope I get picked on the 22nd...

I was never a MMO guy. I got bored on any of them I ever tried. I am more of an action (like God of War and such) and a shooter (Half-Life 2) and horror (Jericho) kinda guy. I don't like paying monthly to play the game. I bought it once, why do I need to buy it again? It's like you go to a store every month and decide to buy the same game on the shelf. And I always get bored in the free ones, so I wont go out paying mothly to get bored again...

I'm in Oregon, USA. And I tried Chrome, IE, and Firefox. With three emails, across three accounts. It makes me a mad panda.

[Edit]
I never deleted that verification email in hopes that it would work later. It did today. Signed up for the CB, we'll see where this goes.

It worked? Cool. Never seen why it wouldn't work...

Yeah, when July 22nd comes around, we will see who gets to play...

I do not see why you had so much trouble with the link. At least it did.

@Metal Devil

Yeah, makes sense. That is why I hardly ever played any of the monthly MMO's I stick with GW and free ones that interest me. THis one does that so far.
