Paris Hilton just stole the limelight from the 2010 WorldCup.

The heiress was arrested in Port Elizabeth for allegedly smoking dagga at the Brazil and Netherlands game for possession of some good ‘ol SA marijuana….!

Seems like PE is now famous, thanks to Paris dahling!!

Paris just tweeted “Had so much fun at the game today. What a match! I love South Africa!” and “It’s so beautiful here. I can’t wait to go on the Safari this week and see all the amazing animals.”

For Sure Paris!!!

A dude in New York was arrested for possession and so happened to be Snoop Dogg's (sp?) friend. Snoop flew in, said it was his, and pulled out... his medical marijuana card?!?!?! Yup.

There's nothing special about Paris Hilton, therefore I don't really care, as much as I enjoy poking fun at her, but that's because she's a symbol of everything I hate in society . At the end of the day, she's another person like many others and also, quite spoiled, much like my neighbour's kids, and at least I only have to put up with Paris Hilton's awful screaming if I accidentally put on MTV, my neighbour's kids on the other hand...

And also, what has she done to get popular? Nothing... she tried a singing career, but that tuned out nothing... I never really got into reading about this person, 'cause I don't really care, but that' all I know of her. Just being rich and spoilt and trying a career wich end in a fail.

Oh totally, I mean gosh, check out those shoes she's wearing, they're just barbaric, somebody like call the fashion police, like you know? But then again I remember why I left the forum besides the new job in the first place...a bunch of people unable to have a proper discussion that usually entails immature responses and geeky boys throwing their PC chips out the cot.

Perhaps if I come back in another 5 months...people would have grown up a bit...unlikely...

Ah well so much for reporting interesting news from my country...Fact of the matter was that I wasn't posting to say what Paris had done, I was trying to point out the idiocy of a person smoking or possession of illegal drugs at a world cup match with police on high alert and having a special world cup court where judgment is swift...

You guys still wondering why she's so popular.

Because people are either talking about her being busted, or they are talking about her being busted. The only way to stop her being so popular is to stop talking about her!

Love her or hate her, your still looking at youtube videos of her, still reading about her, still stoking the fire that is, a shallow husk of some blonde munters should-be-dead career.

Personally, I don't like or dislike her enough to bother. There are people out there worth hating. Johnny Vaughn for instance, the entire cast of Hollyoaks, Tim Westwood, that Go Compare opera guy - hell it's big brother season, why do people care what Paris is doing to 'annoy' them with all that going on.

And yes, end of the day, she's a human like many other humans. The celebrity culture puts me off, because it just puts people in the spotlight for doing things that millions of other people have done. It's one of the reasons I mock it.

that reminds me the time when me and my friend were almost arrested for that but the cops didnt really care, our car just matched the description of the one used at a bank robbery, so they didnt care about us and let us go
