Was there any point in making a new thread?

On the editing side of things, slowing down gameplay footage looks terrible, it looks too choppy and ultimately becomes disorienting. The cuts seem too frantic at times the repeat showing of the final moment of a shot also looks like a game glitch and doesn't add to the effect of the death, if you're going to do that i'd suggest switching to the in game sounds and not the music.

On the gameplay side, quick scopes are never fun to watch...

AKA the Stimulus and Resurgence Pack .

Quik-Scopez are getting quite boring now IMO, I can do them easily, I'd like to see long range no-scopez and drop-shotz...that'll get me interested.

Besides, half of it looks like you have edited it to make it a fake Quik-Scope...hence the jumps in the enemy positions, which is blatantly not what the internet lag does. That's what you need to watch out for in these kinds of vids since a lot of people manage to fake a Quik-Scope even though it was most possibly a Hard-Scope.

Nice editing though.

It was a comemntary video i grabbed off youtube, i wish i could have used in-game sound but if i did, you would hear somebody talking throughout the whole video,

trust me they were indeed all quickscopes,
i sped it up in order to make it fit the music and add to the effect of the video

once again, if it was my own recorded footage, it would look 1000 times better,

thanks

seriously? We're just giving our opinions, the best way to come across like a dick is to not take peoples opinions with a pinch of salt.

if i didnt take his opinion, this new video & thread wouldnt exist. i urge you to re-read what you said and make corrections to its tone

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=172081&b=2

by the way i suck at understanding analogies so in my world, you just called me a d!ck

My point was that it's his opinion, agree or disagree but respect that it may not be yours. It may not be nitpicking for him, it might be the entire bloody problem with the video...
If you read what I said, you'd see I wasn't calling you a dick, but merely stating that if the attitude continues then you may well be seen as one.
I also don't see how I can make corrections to the tone you are reading this on the other end...

i valued his opinion, n based on his comment remade the whole video

its impossible to fully understand wat someone is saying on the internet unless they go into a detailed 2 paragraph explanation

Again, take people (especially me) with a pinch of salt. I hardly ever use smileys so people find it hard how to take me sometimes...

Oolite is only here to offer you his point of view, otherwise he would not be posting.
It can be hard sometimes to take criticism, but people only want to help you when they do point out the faults.

If people say its bad, or this doesn't work, well maybe they are right. Its often hard to see your work from the point of view of someone new, so its difficult to pick out what doesn't work or what people might not like.
The more open you are to criticism the quicker your work will improve. Then you can blow them away with your work a few months down the line.

But no-one should be stupid enough to buy a few crappy maps for the full price of £10 on Steam. Right?

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

acually a lot of people are buying stuff like that nowadays and to be honest, 10£ isnt too much, and if you are a serious MW2 player i see no reason not to...

meh, the price of the maps and that exclusive contract with microsoft turned me away from COD all together, Noobs and their Tubes had a role in it too

i mean c'mon 15 Dollars for 3 new maps and 2 recycled maps?

Tubes isnt a problem in CoD as it is a part of the game, however they are slightly to easy to use, therefore i prefer the tubes in the new medal of honor (playing the BETA) and the tubes are a lot harder to use and make less dmg than in CoD.

It is all about preferences though, The "noob tubes" in MW2 makes realistic if not too little damage but they are way to easy to use due to that you know exactly where they will land.

indeed but it still needs a lot of fixing, iam not a fan of the 8 levels/class since that means i have to fight to unlock 1 weapon and 7 attachments, why not give em right to me then? ... but the game overall is great and i will definitly buy it^^
