Hey guys,

I hadn't booted up into Ubuntu in a while, so today I decided to. Unfortunately, when I got to the login screen, I realized something absolutely horrible; I've forgotten my password!

What's worse is I KNOW I wrote it down somewhere, I just can't remember for the life of me where that was. I also failed to set up a secondary account ("I have plenty of time for that later!" I thought), so I CANNOT get into Ubuntu at all.

Does anybody know if there's anyway I can gain access into my Ubuntu account and reset the password so that I can get in? Is there some trick with a LiveCD I might be able to do?

Thanks to any and all who can help!

Look into konboot

Who the hell is General Failure? And why is he trying to read my hard disk?

My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.
