Hi evrybody !
On the 20th july I'm going to Malaysia on vacation with my family and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how it is there.
I live in sweden so it's gonna take about 12 h. to travel there and the environment is quite different from sweden.

Anyone who can tell me how it is there ?

I've never actually been abroad, but I'm sure it's much nicer, warmer and pleasant than the Newcastle area.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Malaysia in generally very hot ( I spent about 2 years of my life over there), with some great sights such a the twin towers in central KL which is home to a massive shopping centre at the bottom. Other locations I reccomend is the famous hotel 'raffles' which is home to the singapore sling cocktail (singapore is also a lovely city if not slightly to sterile looking). And lastly, but probably the most essential is pahentian island which is possibly the most beautiful place you could ever visit. Hire a challet, and just lay on the golden beaches and admire the crystal clear, blue (it's actually blue, im not kidding) sea whilst sipping a cold beer.
The people in general are a mixed bag, with some friendly, but others rather stern (normally the one's who dont speak english). However, if you go to penang street (basically a street where they sell 'genuine fake' everything, you can pickup some great stuff. Dim sum is also a must on a sunday which gives you a tastle of traditional malaysian and japanese food, coupled with a visit to the excellent 'sold out' restaurant which has a great atmosphere, and you can bag a great meal for about 8RM (ringgit).
Also, if you happen to travel to the centre of KL, take a visit to the large, revolving glass tower; of which you can climb up to the top, and look across the whole of KL within a circular glass room (yes the floor is glass). This can be quite an interesting experience!

Let me know if you want to know anything else

I'm going to Penang , Langkawi , Borneo and Kuala Lumpur !
The only problem is that I really HATE spiders.
Are there many spiders in Malaysia ?

Amazing !
I saw wild monkeys, elphants and other fantastic creatures and not a singel spider (but many lizzards though ).

I really love that country I wich I could stay there.

It's was a really cheap country where you could eat lunch for less then a american dollar.
I bought 40 movies because they are very cheap (I only bought legal dvd's and not copied because I was affraid that the cuality would be very bad and I guees there would not be english subtitles) .
