After playing on fable for a couple of weeks I have completed it but leaving loads of things I want to do, but when I completed the game it went to credits (which seemed to take forever) so eventually I decided to skip them (I'm not sure if this contributed to my problem or not).

I was extremely annoyed to find the game sent me back to the main menu without giving me the option to carry on playing, I checked my game profile to see if it had maybe updated the auto-save slot to let me carry on playing but the last auto-save was just before the end boss. This annoyed me because Fable is a very good game which I haven't experienced a single problem with, I also though it was a good example of why we shouldn't let our game development industry leave Britain but this obvious and very annoying bug ruins the game, the linear part of the game isn't very long but I thought it was good because of the sandbox aspect but now I cant enjoy the sandbox part of it.
Does anyone know why this bug hasn't been sorted out or reported by anyone, is there maybe a way to get around the bug? any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Well from when i remember you have to endure all of the credits otherwise it returns to the menu, apposed to returning to the game, i was glad someone told me before i completed it. So your best bet it to replay the boss(rather easy) and just let the credits roll.

That's a little underhanded imo. what's the point in forcing the player to view all of the credit especially when they are so ridiculously long. they seem to credit bloody everyone no matter how irreverent.

They even credit the workers that work at KFC that they bought when they were working

I remember that because I left the room, came back and had a looks and it said a bunch of names of workers at KFC.

In Fable I you get to continue if i remember correctly but half of the map has been blocked off so you can't really do much.

In Fable II you should be able to continue and do several quests.

Bergice, the only bit that was blocked off was the Guild in my memory.

Then again this is The Lost Chapters version.

What?"

The following may sound a bit like a rant but I think its a very good point and it explains what I mean.

The game Fable is made by a British company, the game is a good example of why the government should support the gaming industry and also why we shouldn't let the talent and creativity of British developers go to waste. Sadly its getting harder and harder for the British gaming industry to cope (I don't understand why) but it just is. Too many company's are being shut down and moved to places like America which is sad.
