Should it find it? If you've replaced the word with something else then you shouldn't be able to find it again.

Perhaps your title does not say it all after all?

Ok, I meant that: "Find in Files" not find the new word that replaced the previous using the option "Find and Replaced"

Thanks for the clarification.

Which options did you use? I could only reproduce your problem if I used the default option which does not check the currently open file - and one other option requires the file to be saved I believe.

You need to give a simple example plus full details of the options you selected.

No I haven't. That option behaves as it should.

As you can see it clearly says ignore open files which I guess is exactly what has happened.

Did you choose that option?

You are right. Excuse me. however, even if this option is enabled, and you open a file to search by any word, as many as exist in the code will be found.
