I've been working on a website the past couple of days for my new mini modeling business, I'm planning on doing something to Dex-Soft but on a smaller scale I guess, The website is obviously not done, far from it infact, but I was wondering if you guys could give me some crits on it so far, Oh..and look at the contact page and tell me what you think of my "New form of support"..Most of the pages are blank at the moment but please tell me what you think of the layout, and color scheme, etc, etc. all crits and suggestions are welcome! (good or bad) Thanks!

First off, get a web host, Wix is pretty dire, like most free opions.

Secondly, from what i can tell there is some room for improvement on the 3D front, how long have you been doing 3d?

Yeah, I'm taking a training course on Blender as we speak, so the 3D is still being improved, and I'm upgrading to a premium account with Wix, so I'll have my own domain.

ugh, the whole page is in flash, takes forever to display. Ditch the flash, that site can be built without it and still look the same.

Yeah I visit the 3D chat constantly, Just to browse most of the time though, like I said I'm still working on Models, the pictures on the website are from May or earlier! and hmm, to use flash or not to use flash? that is the question!

Oh sorry no offense meant but that is by far the worst site i have seen for ages.

Wix is the worst tool for making a site if you value your SEO at all you will ditch Wix and actually get a site that is worth having. A very big hate of that site is the 4 donate buttons, why do you have 4 donate buttons if i was going there as someone interested in your work i would see them and run a mile, one yeh maybe but 4.

In all move away from flash and write this in Java and HTML, flash is good when it is used right and the guys at Wix are amateurs and have made a real mess of it, not something to be making this type of site with.

Get unlimited space and un-metered bandwidth hosting email me i will beat any other host

The content is good, but the site itself is bad. The graphical side is well thought out but flash is quite slow and isnt a very popular option for any website. Try switching to html or use a WYSIWYG program until you are better at coding.

Dont bother with java really. Its not that necessary unless you want to implement scrollers, games etc...

I beg to differ. They are a company worth $2 Million (last time i heard about it) and are getting alot of money from ads and probably around 1,000,000 page views per day for their site.

It takes alot of effort to code in flash, especially for a whole site so dont under estimate them. They are flash coders, you are a html coder. You both have different opinions and they are making a LOAD of money so they are doing something right.

Simply a suggestion, like listing the possible languages that could be used im not saying i had a clear usage idea for it.

I have worked with Flash a great deal actually and with people that work entirely with Flash while i do the PHP or ASP.net back-ends for them, so i know exactly what is involved in Flash development.

it doesn't matter how much money they make you can make loads of money from adverts with a bad idea or something that is slow and not worth the time taken to make it.

But opinions are allowed. If you think its good fair enough, there have been allot of arguments about Wix and im on the hate it side wont give up on that i used it a few times and not at all nice to use in my mind.
