Hey guys,

Just got back from Whistler and did my very first bungee jump. It was phenomenal... just stepped backward off the platform. I think I have a heavy head or something because I couldn't help but go upside down

Anyone else go bungee jumping lately?

Why did I always thought you look just like in your photo? well... I thought Thraxas looked like his photo, until he told otherwise... But I was the first to post so make me a Valued Member!! I never went bungee jumping, I could have done that once here, but it was too expensive for me, and I didn't really trust that thing, as I watch Most Amazing Videos, and some guy said never to do bungee jumping at carnivals or alike. But yeah, looks like fun. And I always thought they put teh rope on your legs...

Never tried it, but it's tempting, looks like a blast.

I've got a friend who's in charge of a skydiving club, he's tried to get me into joining, but for some reason, haven't (probably money).

I almost went bungee jumping on the original dam where James Bond jumped off in "Golden Eye", but it cost 250 Euro (383$)...

Also, why isn't it tied to your feet?

really want to try it that or sky diving, the thing is i am kinda afraid of heights yet i like the thrill of being really high up like on a skyscraper or something, just looking down and wondering how it will suck if i fall. so yeah, i wanna get some adrenaline by doing this, would be amazing

dont hate people who rip you off, cheat and get away with it, learn from them

It was an option to get it tied to your feet or as a harness... I went for the latter. You bounce around and hang for a good 5 minutes after, and I didn't want all the blood rushing to my head!

Awesome, I've always wanted to bungee jump, that or skydive

EDIT: Hanging by your feet does not sound fun
