Hey everyone,

Hope you're all well. Just a little message to say "I'm back". College and stuff got in the way before and I got kinda really frustrated... But i'm back and i'm gunna try have another go at DarkBasic. Whether it's successful or not this time, we're yet to find out... I quite fancy making pacman. Though I really need to refresh my memory and do some tutorials again.

Lol - Quik can crush all he likes, I'm still very much taken (I don't think you can be partly taken...) by N3wton for those that remember him. He also dissappeared a bit. He got busy passing his first year of uni (whoop) and now programmes in c++ a lot.

Yeah that's me. My version of pong was pink though But yes, it did get a lot of intrest to say it was pong. Which I guess was a good thing for me 'cause then I could see what people thought of it and where to improve etc... But maybe a little annoying for some cause at the end of the day, it was just pong.

All went well, I've finished with a 2ii, was hoping for a 2i, but I failed on of my modules in my second year (meaning the highest I could get for the retake was a D-), so it was inevitable. However, I got a B on my dissertation, so I'm pleased with that. Hope Newton's first year went well, as I'm sure he'll know, University is an awesome experience.

It seems that it's people like you that's making girls stay away. Calling girls "chicks" isn't gunna get you far, if you was trying to impress me calling me a chick would be the wrong way to do it. There's a reason why geeky girls stay anonymous... They don't want help or gratitude for their work just because they're a female. They want it because they're just the same as anyone else, just have different anatomy.

There used to be far more women using the forum, but they all get scared off before long. To be fair, one or two did exploit the whole 'geek woman' thing, like posting photo's then complaining about the attention.

I'm sure TillyLala is right, there are most likely several female users who have aesexual profile pictures or actively pretend to be male. It's understandable.
There is also the GameSpace, RealmCrafter guru Tracey - I'm sure it's Tracey, punch me if I'm wrong. That's 2 confirmed females on this forum, heck it's better than some forums!

3, my friend cant remember her username and she rarely comes to visit but she is a member xD

anyhow, i personally think that if 10 girls commits that they are girls, they the fuzz wouldnt be there anymore, or it would atleast lower.
