Hi all,

I've started to work on my first face. It seems that good topology is most important with faces because, as the proud owners of faces ourselves, we notice the most wrong with them.

Anyway, I did a bit of studying and have this so far. I used a front and side reference for a female subject.

Here are some screen shots:

the forehead should be wider, it tapers to much, either that or tone down the cheeks

I think I stayed pretty true to the reference on the cheeks, but I think you might be right about the forehead. I'll work on it.

I agree about smoothing out that forehead's 'edges', but the cheekbones look okay to me.
It is the jaw line that I am having trouble dealing with.

The eyes, mouth, and nose look good though, and proportioned well.

Looking great overall so far.

looking at your three quatre view, your cheeks do look too large, i can only get mine to look that way if i grin or smile, and its more that the forehead needs to be wider at the top, it seems to taper at the moment which is incorrect, remember that our heads are essentially egg shaped, this means that the forehead should be wider than or at least as wide as the rest of the head
