My friend recently IM'ed me, telling me about what an awesome game Combat Arms was, having once played it, and not liking it, I refused to logon untill he begged me.

Now I just got Cormorant 5, out of the fifteen people I asked to try the game, to start playing, and we've been actually playing alot in the past few days.


If you don't have it, you can download it for free at http://combatarms.nexon.net/

I'll guide you through the game and I might even give you a NX weapon if you bother joining. It's seriously fun if you know how to play.


Anyhow, does anyone here play it? Does anyone here actually have the brains to try it?

I quite like the idea of having lots of different weapons to choose from, and I really love the way they have taken a more "fun" take on the shooter (for example, having "Nut Shots"). However, for me it does not really compare with Battlefield: Bad Company 2, or even modern warfare 2. I guess this is because I want experience when playing games such as these, and having not great graphics really takes away from this.

What's that? Is it free?

Because the reason I'm a fan of Combat Arms is that it's free, and yet entertaining, but I've already accepted it's a phase, so I'm playing it all the time.

And Mja, you never gave ME an NX weapon, and I tried it.

I must admit, compared to the original modern warfare, which I played constantly for absolutely ages, this latest instalment did not impress me too much. Although I still think it is a good game, it is not something that I would never put down. In fact, I have not played it since BF:BC2 came out. I do not think that anybody can deny that it was a huge success, though.

AVA, looks like PC is coming back to making real games...
Crsis looks cool but the story and game play makes no sense!
If your in a robot suit and get stuck in a tree and you cant get out right after you get stuck, take the suit off and punch yourself in the face!, god that gets me mad.

The last picture I seen of AVA, it was in a Games for Windows
box, and not only that the game just came out at the end of 3/4 of last year. So im guessing its not FrEe.

It is in my view related if i dont play Combat arms because i prefer AVA, which was what i said, but agreed either stick to the topic, or go download the game(s).

Hey guys, I got a black hisec, and I used my remaining NX to get 20 charges of doubling gp per game. Bad reward, but it's still a BLACK HISEC.

Also, if anyone could give me a black hisec key or two, as I have another case now.

Yup, it's the normal nexon download, another odd thing is that I can very briefly see the menu background every time I Alt-Tab and return to the game...I'm probably going to post it on the nexon forums.

yeah I would do that because that is a weird glitch... Or you can submit a customer support ticket and they usually respond to glitches fast.

Yeah, other people had that problem, I upgraded my drivers and it disappeared...but...the lag! and the hackers!

Yeah some games will have hackers and its kind of annoying but when they gone the game is fun I dont have any lag but when someone uses a flamethrower it kind of lags... lol

There aren't that many hackers. There are WAY more on Modern Warfare 2 (PC).

yeah there are some games where there will be one hacker and he will usually get kicked but since your new u should go to Jackson server where you can pwn... but since it is for lower levels the more chances of hacker will be higher.

Mja is always telling me not to go with perm because CA is always a phase. You could go with 90 days and you may not need it for more then 2 weeks.

I like a perm because it is my main wepon and i can svae up my GP for something cool and what not... I remember I went from like 4,000 GP to 36,000...

For some odd reason this game reminds me of the old Firearms game... before someone "stole" it (I could be wrong) from the people who originally made it. *sigh* that old game was the most fun I've had in a multiplayer FPS...
