Hi, my computer keeps freezing and I don't know why. I got a free piece of software called Wise Registry Cleaner. It cleaned my registry but it failed to fix 2 problems. My computer hasn't been fixed by it at all but it did take away my save game from The Sims 3. I have a NVidia 9600 graphics card and a quad-core athlon processor. Can
anybody here help me or am I trapped in some sort of computer-freezie nightmare in which no one can hear you scream?

Cheers,
Bloder

no really... windows 7 isnt that bad, i ha ve win 7 on 2 of my PCs now and the only time i saw it freeze is when firefox hogged all the memory and that was just firefox freezing the rest of the system worked perfectly and it took a short while to get firefx working again s0 you could argue that i have never seen windows 7 freeze and i have been using it for about 3 months now and thats on a 2.1ghz amd athlon x2 mobile, 3 gigs of ram and an hd 4570m acer notebook

Not sure that would be the problem, because I have that program too, and never had any problems with it. The only difference is, that I'm running Vista. So, maybe it has something to do with the compatability of both running together? Do you have the latest version of Wise Registry Cleaner, and is it suited for Windows 7?

I also have Advanced SystemCare (the free version), and I must admit that it is a really good program. It cleans your registry better, looks for spam and adware, malware, speeds up your computer, defrags it, etc...
Maybe you should try it out sometime?

Have you tried to go back to before you installed WRC with the system restore function?

And, in WRC there should be a function to undo, did you try that too?

Cheers
