By the sounds of it, it has disabled your network managing service

. Go to Start and search "Services" and select it to run it. Now check that the following are running:
-BITS
-Human Interface Device Access
-Netlogon
-Network Connections
-Plug and Play
-Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
-Simple TCP/IP Services
-WLAN Autoconfig
-Wired Autoconfig
Make sure they are all running. If you still don't see your devices, then go onto the BIOS by restarting and hitting the BIOS key (usually DEL). Check on there to see if the ports are recognised. If so, then continue to Windows and open Task Manager. Look under Processes and see if there are any unfamiliar processes with odd name eg. hriwya or tckip. If you see any and their description is odd or the same as the name, end the process. See if the problem is resolved after that
