Looks really good, nice idea showing the in-game and in-editor comparisons.

Thank you very much, those segments took quite a pretty lot of time to produce, it makes me very glad to hear that my work has paid off.

By looking at the view and post count, it seems that the bar has really raised in the world of FPSC. Back in the days, E.L.E got a huge amount of attention with hundreds of posts and thousands of views.

I honestly think this looks better than E.L.E. Only thing that can possibly go wrong here is the gameplay, so pay extra attention to that . The graphics are already top-notch.

It is a great honor to learn that people think that our production is top notch. When I design the levels, I don't compare the design to fpsc games, I compare them to commercial games. Don't worry, there are many planned "out of the ordinary" gameplay features for shatterpoint.

Depending on how in demand our preview revealing is, I would like to ask, what do TGCF members want to get, more screenshots or our music previews. You tell me.

See, we're working on formulating a demo, so we want to save the best for that. So, we can't reveal much.

As you wish. Here are some of my favorite tunes.

Seg. 1 is espionage

Seg.2 is a random, but quite interesting theme.

Seg. 3 is the opening credits theme.

I trust you guys not to use this music in any way.

Got it, the light color will change to create a different kind of ambience, much darker and dull looking. Screen coming soon!

Edit, the picture has been changed.

thanks very much, I look toward things that I want to see in a game. See that's why I enjoy designing games of the sci-fi genre, because It's all you, you don't have to make it realistic!

Hey! Sorry that I didn't comment anything on the songs you put up, been really busy lately Gonna check them when I get home.

I have to say that the screenshots are just awesome. If there weren't the typical FPSC elements (no antialiasing, bars, huds), I wouldn't believe that this was FPSC. Only critism is that the shaders overall are a bit too shiny, don't know if that's your intention?

I don't know if it's the fault of my crappy USB headphones, or something but the songs sounded a bit low-fidelity. That doesn't change the fact that as compositions they were pure gold.

The first song had a nice ambience and all that but I got bored after a while. Not hyper bored but slightly bored, mainly because it wasn't really the type of music I tend to listen but then...

The second song just blew the bank. It had very nice melodies, a bit corny maybe, but inventing both good and original melodies is very difficult these days. Some of the bits actually reminded me of Halo, and my friend who's sitting next to me heard some through my headphones and asked: "You listening to Halo soundtrack again?" .

The third song was very good also, but this song made me realize: Where are the percussions? I don't know if it's your intention but percussions can really spice up almost any song of this type.

Overall the soundtrack seems really good as compositions, but the sound of the songs should still be adjusted to sound more.. pure and professional

I agree with PW PRoductions, I like the level design but for me, it's all spoiled because it's so saturated in bloom. Everything is just too bright and sparkly. It's making the lighting look ugly (which is kinda what bloom does actually). My eyes are being constantly drawn to the big bloomy patches of light, instead of the objects in the level. Lighting seems to be the area that needs most work. Think about toning down the bloom and instead of using it as a main lighting feature (because really, it does look ugly) use it as a subtle effect.

Allright, I found that the light is too big for the source used in the last screen. I will decrease the range.

Looking very nice and colourful with a good crisp feel to the levels

I have a couple of little crits:

The girder/support spans between the uprights look like they are made of paper in this screenshot.

In this screenshot (ceiling light) that light ray decal thing is too flat and added to the fact the actual light source the rays are coming from does not seem glow make it look really strange.

Most of the screenshots using them light ray decal things look wrong to me, as they are so harsh and flat. maybe add some more alpha transparency to them so they are a little more subtle ??

Still a nice over all feel to your maps and I don't mind the excessive bloom too much as the levels are very scifi and fit well with it to be honest

I would suggest adding some Self-Illumination to your light sources though, as then your bloom may give you a better effect to your light ray things. Plus they will then look like they are actually producing light.
