Some of the commands in GetResource now return strings instead of putting them in allocated memory.

The affected commands are now called :

GetComputerName$()
GetUserName$()
GetTempFileName$()
GetTempPath$()
GetEnvironmentVar$()

Its a whole load of commands for allowing easy access to various functions like drive information, memory size, disk size, current user, temp directories etc. It also has a colour picker and the open/save dialog box.

Mainly for DBPro, although if you can work out the function names, you can mostly use them in DB 'Classic'.

In order to download the plug-in, you need to do the following :

A) Switch on your computer
B) Wait until computer is ready to use
C) Open a web browser.
D) Type in : http://www.codingarea.co.uk
E) Wait for title page to display. Note the lovely graphics as done by Indi
F) Admire the graphics a bit more. Scroll up and down to see the number of people who have viewed the main page, and the initial time and date for downloading it.
G) Note the side bar.
H) Find DLL and Plug-ins button.
I) Press this button
J) A nice large page will load
K) Note the title. This was NOT done by Indi
L) Scroll down a bit
M) Scroll down a bit more
N) Scroll down a bit more until you find the GetResource column
O) Right-click over the GetResource line.
P) Save into the plugins-user directory.
