2 audio files take 30-40 seconds to load or delete.

I've tried OGG format, as well as MP3.

1 file is just over 1MB the other is 730K.

These loaded / deleted almost instantly in XP 32 bit.

[edit]
Ok, 30-40 seconds might be an overestimate.

The following code times the loading of a single OGG file that is just over 700K in size. On my machine it took just over 7 seconds to load, and 25 seconds to delete, as opposed to milliseconds when run on 32bit XP.

Audio file attached.

I don't think load audio and delete audio are official DBPro commands. You probably need to report this to the author - via the DLL TALK or CODE SNIPPETS boards perhaps.

I could have sworn those were DBP commands.

Thanks GG. Saved me from myself again..

[edit]
The load SOUND and delete SOUND DBP commands work fine in W7(64)
