I'm going to say yes...even though it's a band I own no albums of nor have listened to very often.

However, I was in this crowd:

For a band I don't think many people have heard of...at least I've never met another person who knows who they are (gigs don't count), Haggard. I think they're quite awesome, especially live:

And the same goes for Therion (people always seem to fall in love when I introduce them to these):

The problem is, you can't listen to one song to represent them, after all...they vary a lot - their earlier stuff was death metal, yet half of their 2007 Miscolc set was classical. Some songs are power metal, others very heavily symphonic and because pretty much every album has different singers, it varies there too. Also, they did the best Abba cover ever, it sounds nothing like the original. (the above song)

It seems like, every band I say, you have been in their concert(s)...
It was nice how the whole crowd and the band did the slow mo there! What? It was edited? I don't believe that...

The jumping around is great, but I just love this preformance:

Especially Myanard's part. He steals the show.

It's probably because I go to a metal festival each year excluding this year (didn't have the money) and sometimes go gigging when I have the cash and friends to go with.

Sodom were at Wacken 2007, awesome, awesome festival, it was 3 years ago and I'm still going on about it, despite having gone back in 2009.

I was too, and you didn't recognize me at all, Sepp??
I was the one with the gas mask on at 3:36. Hahaha! Just kidding of course!

On topic:
I had some of their first albums. They're not my favorite band, but they bring good metal, and that's what really matters, right?

Cheers

They're definately not the best Thrash band around, but some of their stuff is okay. Especially their earlier albums.

-Why didn't God take gaga, justin bieber or kesha instead of Randy Rhoads, Cliff Burton or Dio?

You mean Metallica I liked Metallica's older stuff better. Now I think they have become sellouts...
Quote: "Megadeth"

WORD! I also like Megadeth's older stuff better. Obvious reasons...

The other bands I have not heard of.

i personally love metal, i'll be looking at some sodom stuff later, i listen to two very under-rated bands, turisas and cycle of pain, they only ever managed to release 1 album and almost forgot, 3 inches of blood, along with the usual metallica etc

Oh yeah! Another Kreator fan! I think that Sodom's better, but they are good second

Quote: "The best of trash metal (in my book):"

THe lead singer sounds a bit Metallica-ish.

Quote: "It's about time you do then, because they were the trendsetters of thrash."

I think I should. But I've been too busy listening to these following albums:
KornIII: Remember Who You Are - Korn
Ænima - Tool
Lateralus - Tool
Why? Becouse I just bought all of them. Well Korn's album I bought almost like a month ago, but Tool's albums I bought this week, so I didn't have time to do anything else than listen to that... and wait for Arkham Asylum to arrive...
