Well, now that everyone is putting down so many bands, I quess I'm putting every band here then (not in any particular order):
Tool
Korn
Lordi
Poets of the Fall
Megadeth
Nightwish
Sodom
Kreator
Metallica
Black Sabbath
Ozzy Osbourne
Iron Maiden
DIO
Dope
Rammstein
Serj Tankian
A Perfect Circle (not so much, but they were quite good)
Disturbed
Motörhead
Mokoma

That's what I can remember right now for metal and rock. I also listen to alot of soundtracks, here are some of my favourites (not in particular order):
Shadow of the Colossus (epicness...)
Left 4 Dead 2 (not really a soundtrack I think, but the songs in that game are awesome, and I have them on my phone)
King Kong (Peter Jackson's)
Hulk (the 2003 one. That movie has an awesome soundtrack, altho the movie itself was a flop)
Carrie (It's good. Couple of songs I really love, but the others are not so great, altho they are good... anyway)
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (goddamn, it's epic)
Godzilla theme... just... what more can I say?

Oh and this.

That's all... and I also like Dead or Alive too. They are good.

You can't possibly put down every band you like, there are far too many, if those bands really are the only ones you guys like you need to listen to more music!

This week I have mostly been listening to... reggae

I just typed a bob marley song into youtube and it came up with a "bob marley mix" which was actually a whole load of reggae musicians, all great music and a lot of them I'd never heard before. I love youtube for music, it has introduced me to a lot of new music (new to me). So here's my list:

Bob Marley
Desmond Decker
Peter Tosh
Black Uhuru
The Specials
Turbulence
Mos Def
Flock of Seagulls
Kate Bush
Joy Division
