Halo: Reach comes out in 8 days, I'm pumped for it. I've preordered the Legendary edition because I'm a nutcase over this game.

Anyone else getting it?

Well, the beta wasn't as fun compared to previous Halo betas, so I'm not sure on whether to get it yet.

I'm so excited for this game that I feel like my only purpose in life is to play Halo Reach! lol. The Beta alone was better than Halo 2 and 3 Xbox Live.

If anything i'm getting it for its forge and gametypes. I spent hours makeing and playing custom games. And now you can have a 1000 maps and a 1000 gametypes on reach

Plus its the last bungie one so any halo fan should buy. I don't even have ODST because it was just a filler. But this will be good though

I sort of lost interest in the Halo series after Halo 3 was worse than the other two.

By the time I actually get round to completing my trilogy, Reach will probably be cheaper and you can tell me if it's worth getting.

I loved Halo 3. The only problem with it was that the campaign was really short, and the boosters and derankers on MP. Other than that it was great.

I am also pumped for it but I keep forgetting to pre-order it... I loved all of the Halo's but 3 was the best because I played it for like 2 years strait because it never got old to me. So many awesome forge maps, played with friends, zombies!, Griff ball, and more Forge! Now that reach has tons and loads of things and all the new forge things, So many awsome maps from forge and vehicals etc. !!!

Hmm, as long as the campaign's more involved than Halo 3's and longer, and less...boring than ODST's...

The matchmaking was fun but flawed, the loadout system sohuld prevent those lockouts with players spawning with ARs getting wiped by the people who grabbed the rocket launcher or banshees, etc...

Although nothing felt better in that game, than getting a plasma pistol, power drain and plasma grenades on Valhalla. Soon as a banshee pilot gets over confident, bring him down with the pistol, pin him with eh power drain, and finish him with the 'nades...

If it allows more moments like that where I can get creative with my kills - then I'll love it.

Halo and Halo 2 have probably been the best halo games so far. The only good thing about Halo 3 was the online gameplay. The only good thing about ODST was the map pack and the beta invitation for Reach.

I think Halo:Reach will be good.

I don't want an Xbox, I have a perfectly good one right here. And I also have an Xbox 360. (That's right, they have two seperate names you know.)

And I prefer Garry's Mod because of the content available and huge community, not because the other one runs on a 360.

I prefer Garry's Mod too tbh, purely because there's nothing more satisfying than joining a server where someone has stacked identical objects to make a fort or something awesome, and left it public and on default settings...

A fun thing to try is to spawn enough barrels to create a neverending explosion as you hold down the prop spawn key. The object is to induce a server crash due to it trying to handle too much info for the hosts PC, or cause the host to wipe the map, deleting hours of his work...

Satisfying. Horrific and unfair, but satisfying. Having very restricted servers just makes it a more fun challenge.

Got mine pre-ordered! I skipped ODST, so I look forward for the firefight in this one. Plus Forge is looking cool. I'm mostly looking forward to the co-op though. I saw gamespot.com playing through the first level and it looks fun

I got it at the midnight release last night and beat the campaign by 5:00 am. It's now 3:35pm, I've had to go to school from 7:00am - 2:00pm and now I'm heading off to work. I haven't slept yet.

It's a ridiculous amazing game.

Campaign is much harder this time. The Elites are actually enemies to be feared, much like the Hunters in CE. The Hunters in this game are very hard to kill.

Wow, I just beat it. I've been avoiding this thread until I did, but there's nothing on here that would spoil anything.

The last level truly captures the spirit of Reach. It is really well done.

So, i'm deciding if I should get this. I'm not to huge of a Halo fan by any means but I constantly hear people saying how fun it is and some people are telling me to get it. So, its been a good 3-4 months since I played my 360, is this the kind of game that will get me playing again?
