You just let me know how that goes

Thats the magical solution mate, in UV mapping you gotta do it yourself.

that wasnt very helpful. at least i explained that the program doesnt do it all.

Try lithunwrap or microsofts free unwrapper.

or i hear wings3d is pretty good.

I personally use lithunwrap.

Ewww get it away from me

But yeah no program will completly unwrap a model for you, at least do a good a job of it anyway. I reccomend learning to do it yourself. As for the 'comeback' it was a bit late and completly un-called for since you know its pathetic...

But seriously your mum jokes?

Its been a while, still crap as always. Good luck to your future here

Is he trying to unwrap a model or someones mom? LOL. Depending on what program he uses there are commands (In some) that make this process a breeze. Some tuts on uv mapping (regardless of weather you understand the concept or not.) will always come in handy. Generally unwrap layout is a user pref and thus left up to the user. I use blenders intrenal unwarp functionality and it does fine. There are options to set how the uvmap is unwraped as well as fair amounts of tools to manipulate afterword. Models vary so much that its really up to you whats appropriate for each one.
