Who played the first game and loved it?
Check out the trailer for the new Dragon Age 2 and share your thoughts.
I know its a bit of a wait till release but this trailer looks amazing. (March, 2011)

>>TRAILER<<

What do you guys think? I think that the idea to fix the whole story around a fixed HUMAN MALE and not have the option to customize is a bit of a downer, but I'm hoping the game forks out with a good excuse.

Cheers.

if the loss of character individuality means that they can tighten up on the story telling (which, tbh does tend to suffer at the hands of 'customisation') then I am all for it

This is not the Sig you are looking for....

That would have to be the "good excuse" I mentioned.

nice cinematictrailer^^
i hope they dont do like with mass effect, you get to choose first name, and then they keep calling you last name ONLY.
wouldnt it be better to just call the whole character something? >.>

as long as i get to customize his looks i am happy!

Me.

Haven't managed to finish it though.

Will probably have to wait for the long winter nights.

Looks so epic that I don't think I'll be able to not find a way to afford it.

I hate how you don't get to customize your character a bunch and have your own story like in the first one. But besides that that game looks pwnage.

Customisation I think is good gameplay wise, but story wise, I prefer how it can be more polished when the character's fixed. Dragon Age was great fun for custom stories, it actually offered a decent replay value for me, despite only actually finishing it once, when I was my cruelest, but I'm not against them doing this.

The trailer looks cool, but it'll be interesting to see what the do with it.
