Hey, the other day i was using google to help my mate do something in c#, naturally you have to then trawl though all the results to find one half recent because otherwise the code wont work.
However i found a new cool thing with the newish google.
After you have searched, on the left you can press Show Search Tools, and then press Past Year. Then itll show all results from the past year, and like so for the other options, and therefore u get decent search information which shows recent code which most of the time will work. I have to say it has helped me alot.
And when you want a large image when your searching in google images, if you change the filter to Large, it will show large images and not small/hard to see ones.


Anyway, does anyone else have some cool discoveries they made which like this is something small yet really helpful to know.
