. Hello everybody I found an offer on ebay for 99 cents for a free xbox 360 250gb console. Like anyone would I looked at it and it looked like it might be legit. It was only 99 cents so I got it.

. He emailed with a link that I later found out was a referal link. I went to the website and signed up. It didn't require anything but shipping address. When I got there I read the terms and conditions. I couldn't find anything stating that it wasn't real or a scam.

. So I chose the option of referals. To get the xbox, a game of my choice, and a controller, and all the cords, I had to either complete one level A offer, which the best one I think was the gamefly one, or 50 points worth of level B offers. Level A sounded better and cheaper so I did the gamefly one. It only required one month of membership for only 9 dollars.

. Since gamefly is a game renting site I didn't really think I would lose my money because I would get to rent games for free for a month, and it would count towards this if it actually worked. So I did that and the other part to complete it is to get 8 people referred to the site from a link they provide. I searched and couldn't find anything but that they always did what they said when they got the referals.
. I have the link but I don't want to advertise unless someone wants to try it to then ask and I'll either post it here or maybe email it if your allowed to tell me it. Or maybe I can post it on a free site for people to see so it doesn't break any rules.

. Anyway I was wondering what your guys' oppinions are for this. I'm pretty sure that all you have to do is refer someone who completes their 50 level b points or one level a offer. I guess if this works then I'd suggest it to anyone who wants to rent games for a month trial only 9 dollars, because they have nothing to lose and they might finish it to and get one as well. Personally i hope it's real.

. I promise if I finish I'll post proof on here that I got it so I don't lead anyone into the scam as well if it turns out to be one. Could you people give your oppinions so I don't feel stupid if this is a scam?

I hope it works out for you, but similar offers I have read about in the past have been questionable. People offer free computers, game systems, etc if you join sponsors. The issue is if you read the fine print on the agreement it will say "free (what they are giving away) as long as current supplies last" or something to that effect. Of course they only have to have one item to give away and technically they have not broken any laws. Even after the free one is gone they can continue making the offer as their agreement covers them.

I hope I am wrong and wish you the best on this.

The only offers like that that are 100% genuine are the 'free' laptop offers with mobile internet.

Other than that, if it's too good to be true... well you know the rest.

Just remember nothing is free, in some shape or form you'll have to pay for it some way.

PAGAN must be the site admin.

Remember those old guys? They made epic renders, I think one of them was called DaVinci, and all they used was MS Paint. Sometimes it's just skill....

Either that, or it was extreme sarcasm.

It's a pyramid scheme, the get you to spend all this money and get your friends to spend money equalling far more than the cost of the xbox. While a lot of them are legitimate, I find it's best to avoid them.
Also, don't buy things like that off of ebay, you can get them free with a google search.

Isnt it a pyramid scheme, IE: you get the link, you pass it to 10 friends, they pass it to 10 friends, usually schemes like this, they may not be obliged to send you one once you met your end of the bargain say if they have no more in stock as stated above, these things are usually used for advertising purposes, but if they where to send you one, (and thats a big if), the you may find that although they wont charge you for the item, you would have to pay for postage, plus the possibility that they may charge you an Administration fee, technically they wont be charging you for an xBox as its "associated fees", not price for the item, but they wont tell you that until you have roped in x amount of friends.

Sorry but i know this as i made a site like this for someone a few years ago, and although it is legal, it is usually a scam, but a legal one.

My advice is not to bother with any of these sites regardless of how 'honest' it may look.
