I'm looking for some datasheets or some sort of information on several things, the first one being one on the WSVGA and HDMI hardware protocol (as in what bits you send to where to get a display).
The next is how to read and write data to a SATA hard drive.

I really need this info for my college project this year so any sort of information or pointer in the right direction would be fantastic, so thanks in advance for any info

Alternatively, if anyone has some info on where to get a colour lcd dot matrix that would be fantastic too.

BASIC programmers never die, they GOSUB and don't RETURN.

I believe HDMI works mostly in the same way as any moniter, the HDMI wire just allows faster data transfer, you can get non-HDMI HD Moniters

The First Page of This PDF looks promising though, google is your friend =/
