There is a wild parrot that is flying around the school that I work at and I think it is an Amazon parrot. I managed to get some photographs of it looking through the window of the 4th floor XD.

It's most likely someone's pet, so you should try to catch it and return it if possible.

Its been there for a year, so who ever it used to belong to has probably long given up looking for it, plus I think there are more than one, so they could be breeding and this might be their chick, which is now at least a year old.

In that case just leave it. It'd be cruel to put it in a cage after at least a year of freedom.
