This has been running as part of the TV comercials in Sweden the last weeks. I just find it... plain stupid, and apparently, it is indeed a real advertisement campaign. Is it just me or do you agree that it is ridiculous?

Most advertisements are nowadays, just look at the "go compare" ones with the fat opera singer.

Why is everyone on TV obsessed with stupid word plays or trying to make one thing look like another? Do they think by disguising their product they're going to trick people into buying it? I'm only effected by advertising if it's something I'd want and just didn't know about. The actual advert has never made me buy anything.

"I know, let's make her act like it's food!"
"OMG You're a genius! Let's go get drunk."
"Or we could make her act like it's poo!"
"...No. Let's go get drunk."
"But we're already drunk."
"Then let's pretend were not drunk and we're actually in space!"

I know most ads are stupid, but this more looks like it's a parody on prejudices towards women from some sitcom. (And, spoken like the man I am, women don't even paint).

Adverts for cosmetic products annoy me the most, with their fake 'pseudo science'.

I mean, what exactly is 'Boswellox'? And what has genetics got to do with making your skin moist?!

And finally, what is the 'Pro-Argin Formula' that they put in a certain brand of toothpaste?!

I thought 'Pro-Argin' was slang for an Argintinian footballer!!

The important thing is not how intelligent the commercials are, but that you're now talking about how stupid they are, and therefore you're (indirectly) talking about the products.

So, stupid as it may seem... Their campaign worked.

Commercials are why I no longer watch TV.

Except Burn Notice....cause it's worth it Although I guess there are probably more shows worth watching...I just don't watch TV so I don't know...

Blåkläder. Everyone was saying "oooh, this commercial, it's so funny! When you see it, you will laugh your ass off!" But did I? No! Becouse it... just wasn't funny. I don't know why it's supposed to be funny. "hey, look at that black man say Blåkläder wrong! Now please laugh at it! PLEASE!"
