Just finished the beta of my minisite creator/CMS, check it out:

http://beta.copy-pilot.com/

How are the logo, price point, and sales copy? I'm thinking about changing the name to MiniPilot potentially, any opinions?

Also I'd like crit on the quick start guide which is attached.

instead of email list segmentations, how about "multiple email lists"

Anyways there's no real way to tell what changes would be best until you do a/b testing. So, I think your copy is good, and your product looks excellent. It's not anything I'm looking for so I'm not buying, but if I was in the market, it looks like it could compete. I don't know how your product fares compared to others in a similar price point.

You really should offer a newsletter for those who may not want to buy now but may want to be updated. Also, I don't see how you would get many bites without a free trial. Look at something like constant contact, I'd probably call a leader in their sector, offers 60 days free. This would offer you a great way to build up a email base, and from what I see it sounds like you would know what to do with that

Anyway, good luck!

Just had a thought, you might want to offer people to sign up and build their pages and emails and whatnot before they pay, but don't let them publish. That way you can snag their email and keep them updated, get them interested, and then once they're in they're more likely to buy.

That said, I'm a firm believer in putting the price right on the front page, nothing ticks me off more than not seeing a price!

Excellent ideas, yes I am working a demo which you will be able to log on soon, but the making people able to create their own sites but not publish could be the better option. Getting them invested is a great way to hook them in.

I also want to make a basic free version up for download soon which might actually be usable by anyone and could be good promotion.

Thanks for the crit.
