1st thing I notice is that theres a break at 0:05, and at 1:17 theres a weird buzzing sound.

Iunno... it sounds like a song that I'd hear at a party, turned up really loud.

It's too busy for my liking - which is always a problem with this style of music, it actually sounds like you have 3 different songs playing. It's too obvious to have tubular bells with anything these days, it should be banned. Not trying to offend you, but I'm not sure why you posted this, because there's very little of you in there, all I can hear are busy loops and lyrics I can't care about.

For me, I prefer more original stuff, mix in classics to your own loops, own basslines and drums - make it your own instead of sounding a bit like the music in Fast and Furious. If you need some inspiration, don't look at RnB - look at Pendulum and The Prodigy to see how the pro's re-invent classic songs. Stop trying to sound good enough and start trying to sound unique.

No offense... I'm not your target audience so I can only go with my own thoughts - I think that the best DJ's out there are the ones who go against the grain, be a dissident, music will always need dissidents.

its got the bass to be a party song, it just needs more variation maybe 2 breakdowns throw in there would sound good

Hip-hop/rap isin't really my thing, but

-at the begging and at 0:5, and most of the intro breaks I can hear a weird voice in the background
-Serious fruity free filter overdose on into voice
-Eliminate the background noise on the main rap (it sounds like a rain stick od'ing )
-1:17?
-The voice sounds like its extremely far away
-Make a thumpier kick, it just sounds like background vibration right now

Van B.

i frequently listen to both groups. and yes i do compile and produce my own loops and samples... but sometimes i like to attempt to chop and screw a track.

what do you mean by that?

I used my mixer and a custom effectbank on my laptop to create that effect on Akons voice.

Oh nvm, it just sounds exactly like a plugin iv'e heard...it weirds me out, just doesn't fit the song.

You should really try and throw some creativity in there though, right now it just sounds really unoriginal
