Supercomputers are designed different from personal computers, they are designed for parallel processing rather than doing few tasks as fast as possible. So, a supercomputer may not necessarily be able to run Crysis on max even if its total processing power is way higher than the ordinary PC.

The one China made is a supercomputer, not a PC. 2.507 petaflops(what the hell are those?) beating the US one which clocks in at 1.5 something petaflops.

A flop is a floating point operation.

Am i right it thinking that instead of using floating point cores consumer processors use ALU's so this thing would not be very useful to a consumer anyway?
