originally I went searching today for a core 2 quad Q9650. Since its pretty old its hard to find. But to my surprise i managed to find a core 2 extreme QX 9650 for only 300 bucks. Now just 2 weeks ago i was looking trough the internet at CPUs and the QX processors the 9650 in particular were still around $1000. seeing as a core 2 quad with the same specs is only about $300 i decided to buy that (to replace my pentium D. I thought it was some kind of scam at first but the guy asured me that the price drop of the QX prosessors happened about 1 year ago. I guess i fell for the scam maybe because i was just curios to see if it really was a scam. Now when i got home, i looked up the QX9650 on the interner and to my surprise all the russian sites sold it for $300. So when did this happen? This brings me to another question i had for a long time. The Q9650: 3 GHZ, 12 mb of cache, 1333 bus and it was $300. The QX9650 same specs 3 GHZ, 12 mb of cache, 1333 bus speed. and it was $1000. so what is the difference between these which made the price difference so high?(untill recently i guess)

dont hate people who rip you off, cheat and get away with it, learn from them
