Well i just usually get really pissed off when someone disturbs me when i'm writing a piece of code, and really try to concentrate on what i'm doing.

I growl at my code, quite often - and I double-fist-pump when I get something working .

I think it's just focus, your concentrating so much on what your doing that it takes presedense, and your emotions just roll with that - A bug in your code is the equivalent of anything else that can make you angry... its probably a good thing at the end of the day - I mean if it didn't affect you that way, you might not even bother coding at all.

I usually snap at other people when they talk to me while im busy coding or modeling. If i snap at my parents though, it just adds to the, "your computer crap takes more importance over everything in your life" <<< AS SOON AS I START dbpro or max xD

Nothing made me angrier than waiting for a 5000 line project to compile, only to get the Failed to 'CFileBuilder::AddPckToExe' error message right at the end.

I was soooo happy when I worked out how to stop it.

How did you stop it?

Only way i get it to stop is manually add the .exe file of the program to the exlude list in AVG.

Try compiling 17k lines of code, testing the project to see if you fixed the bug and then realizing that you completely forgot something essential to the fix in your code, something stupid, like "print".

@Bergice:
I tried messing with the AVG settings, but to no avail; instead it stops on all of my PC's if I close the project window before compiling it.

@Uncle Sam:
Yeah, lol; I do that a lot

Mega Mash Mothers is starting to annoy me when compiling... It takes around 40 seconds to compile, and only returns a "whoops, you FAILED to close the nest at line 5783 you **** n00b!!"

OpenFPS takes about 3 minutes now to compile... It's torture having to wait for that stupid green bar to crawl to the end of the screen every time I want to make a slight change.

Everybody gets angry when programming. It can be infuriating when you can't solve a bug, only to realize later (sometimes days or weeks later) that you now know the solution, but couldn't think of it when you wanted to. I don't scream or cuss at my computer, but I do exclaim things like "You stupid computer, you have 4GBs of RAM, so compile/run FASTER!". And by exclaim I mean I whisper that so my family doesn't think I'm crazy.

I just remembered an incident where my computer completely froze while running a DB program and I had to hard-reboot. I believe I smacked the mouse down on the desk pretty hard, and was very afraid I had broken it. I didn't, but it failed only a few weeks later...related? Probably.

That's the only time I can think of where I got mad enough to risk damage to a computer peripheral.

Actually, another thing that made me angry about programming is when (Using the Old DBP editor) you open up a project and find that your masterpiece is now a blank source file. Thank heavens for Codesurge

And also, I have spent 2 days trying to change the picture in my sig. Think its working now, but that made me a lil angry as well.

>Edit<

LOL!! Or when u spend 2 days trying to change your forum sig and then a Mod erases it coz it's a bit too big!!! *facepalm*

Sorry mods.

Nothing is quite as irritating as having a large program show you a message "compiler error: unknown". That's usually when I have to restart the IDE and then DB works fine with the same code.

I'm usually a pretty calm programmer, might the trance I listen to while I'm doing it. But when I do get mad, it's usually over the dumbest mistakes I shouldn't have made in the first place and so I overlook them as probable causes to errors because I don't make mistakes.... errr something like that.

Yeah, I sometimes am frustrated at my computer too when I can't find the bug. And, when I find the silly bug later, I say to my computer:

...and then, my comp just stares at me with his big eye, not answering at all...and that frustrates me even more...

...so, then I start inventing ways to punish my PC for not answering me or for giving me those silly bugs...like, for example, punishing him for a couple of days by not turning him on, or not upgrading his hardware or not installing the latest updates...

...oh man, and he hates that...

More like one of THE best Trash Metalbands ever (along with Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth, Exodus, Kreator, Sodom, Annihilator, Voivod, etc...) who set the standards for Trash Metal. I grew up listening to their music.
They still play, actually. Even though they are becoming veterans. Hahaha!

Cheers

metallica is thrash.

I personally generarily odnt like thrash, but metallica is fine^^
I am more into simple heavy or death metal Soilwork being a favorite. along with sonic syndicate (new singer is crap tho) and my recent fav, Five Finger Death Punch ^^

Early Metallica might be thrash, the Black album is debatable, then after that its just some kind of rock.

They used to be, back in the day. In fact, I would argue they were the #1 best thrash band. But they ceased to be metal with the album "Load". After that they started a VERY slow process of recovery, which is no where near completion. Hopefully, they will start releasing more than just two albums a decade, and this process will accelerate.

Na dude Dave Mustane was kicked out of Metallica, he was one of the ones who brought Metallica to what it is known for. Get the CD Kill em all and ride the lightning and look at the songs and youll see Daves name in the credits, on there best songs.

Even Slayer and Anthrax were influenced by Megadeth
Kerry king was the first rhythm in Megadeth before starting Slayer...

All three of these songs are the same... Dave from Megadeth wrote the first song of it and Metallica change it to the Four Horse Man.

Dunno, it works for me on Win 7. That said, I keep finding TGC products failing to work. I've switched to Purebasic. It doesn't offer as much, but everything works as advertised. It's a bit more complicated to get a game up and running though, you have to know what you're doing.
