Would leadwerks work good with:

2.30ghz
Ati Mobility Radeon 5470
Windows 7 home premium 64-bit
1366 x 768 resolution
4gb of ram
320gb hard drive

Would leadwerks work good with these specs?
If you need more information please ask.

proboly with more of the simpler stuff. GPU idk, might wanna get a beefier one. the 4 gigs of ram is generally good for this kindof stuff. Is the CPU dual core? maybe if you have a socket 775 CPU you might wanna get a Q9650 which is core 2 quad (3 GHz quad core) with 12 mb of cache. They make a really big difference

oh wait, i didnt realize its a notebook. well there is nothing i see that can improve your performance but it shoud bhe enough to run leadwerks. now much memory do you have on the videocard? 512?

Give it a try. you got nothing to loose. it should be able to handle leadwerks on at least min-mid settings. unless you are choosing a notebook to buy for this in that case personally id reccomend something beefier, but its up to your budget really

i guess it should be good enough at what i said before if you dont overuse too much obnoxios detail and spam shaders/bump maps everywhere. just use it sparingly and you should be cool

Thanks for the help. I will try to find a better laptop. But it is hard to find a good gaming laptop for a nice low price.

yeah you got that right. You could find a cheaper used gaming laptop on ebay or something. another thing that sucks is laptops these days are so cheaply made, youll be lucky if it lasts you more than 3 years. I bought a gaming laptop 3 years ago, it broke after 2 years in 3 places. 1 the hinge on the screen, i was able to replace that for $200 bucks. the cheap audio jack broke like 2 weeks after i bought it. (tried fixing it but wasnt able to find a good enough rplacement). and the video card 8800m GTX fried but thats already my own fault. but yeah i still love laptops. once i get enough money ill buy a $7000 dollar laptop and cry several months later because its already obsolete

I've heard good things about the Alienware Mx11 (I think that's the model number) apparently nice and powerful and on the cheaper end. Maybe worth a look?

Sure, I used to hate alienwares but the new MX series is actually really good in terms of build quality. Nice aluminium chassis. This is the only good aluminum laptop other than a macbook. I am not sure if graphics is upgradeble, id say proboly not i dont think a GT330 is MXM (removable/upgradeble notebook graphics card) but its pretty good for the price. Also you can buy a cheap configuration and upgrade it over time so thats nice.

I know but I'd like a laptop with 15 or 17 inches. And I found a nice laptop that is cheap and is good for gaming. But thanks for the help.
