2D All the way! / Printing on top of Sprites

Ive been working on a remake of an old game (masters of magic, if you've heard of it) in darkbasic, and when making buttons on the title screen, I have sprites as the backround. I want to print New Game, Load Game, Quit, etc on them, but when I try, it prints them underneath. Is it possible to print them on top?

Never mind I decided to edit the sprites instead of printing on top of them. They look better than they would have if I printed on top anyways.
