I'm not trying to start a debate or get this thread locked. however as a starving artist I would like to defend myself and a comment someone took the wrong way. i do not support stealing software or pirating it. I have pirate quite a lot o things in my day. but I generally go back and pay the cash for them.

I do not support downloading illegal copies and selling them or such. but sometimes it is easier to just download the program and learn it and while learning and save up and buy it.

In fact I spent over 100 last month buying legal software. and I have a hard drive full of legal assets I purchased.

and I feel bad for the guy who had his entire Iphone app stolen. I did graphics for two apps so i know how hard and expensive it can get.

100p?

If pots and pans were "if"s and "and"s there would be no work for programmer's hands...

OVER 100 DOLLARS JUST THSI MONTH. I normally spend about 300 to 2000 per year on computer equipment and assets. but that includs training.we were having a discussion that is against the forum rules so it was closed. so I just wanted to say that I was not bragging or giving instructions on downloading software illegally. just that when necessarily i have pirated things.

i downloaded halo universe the week it first came out but just recently went and purchased it. so I think in some cases it balances out.

Why did you start this thread? You were neither slapped nor banned.

It's this kind of talk that we can't allow here. Nobody here CARES whether you pirate games then buy them. The fact is that you pirated them to begin with. I'm locking this thread and it would be great if people just shut up about the things they continue to pirate. We are not life police. What you do with your free time is your own business. Don't brag about illegal activities here and everyone will get along just fine
