I know you all don't really care, some of you may not even notice (like that was possible! ) but I haven't been around as much as I normally am. I was working with a well respected member of the forums for a while on a very promising project, but things fell out from under me and I'm still not sure why. I've taken up writing for the uni newsletter and trying my hardest to get all the freelance work I can in. I'm also on trial for the next two years of my course to eventually start as a lecturer when I leave. The deal will be that I spend a year doing a teaching course whilst also working on the job. I believe I've mentioned it sometime before on these forums because I was unsure whether to take it or not, I'm definitely going to have to now because...

Say hello to Oolite Jr. We had our 12 week scan yesterday and everything is completely fine. The little bugger is due on the 2nd of June so i've been working my arse off to get things ready. My final year in uni is going to be bloody hectic I tell you.
I'm considering starting up a new thread over in 3d chat where I help people with max/zbrush/photoshop/modelling/animating and the like. It went pretty well last time so if anyone is interested let me know.

Cheers.

Congratulations! One of my sisters is also just over 12 weeks. She didn't even realise she had it until a few weeks ago.

Congratulations, Oolite! And well done, I'd say!
So, is he/she your first one? Plenty more to follow?
You'll be a great father, I'm sure of it.
Best wishes!

Excellent. It's good to hear that you plan on staying on the forums, even with a new baby on the way.

Cheers guys!
Hopefully its not the last, but I wouldn't count on the other one coming too soon anyway.
I'll get working on the Hello world thing as soon as I can.

Darth: I don't want to post my email over forums so use the contact page on my website. It sends stuff straight to my email and then we can correspond on that if needs be.

I should point out that if you call him World, then people will say "Hello, World" to him.

You can get further with a smile and a gun than you can with just a smile.
