This will blow your mind - but that is already possible.

You can get further with a smile and a gun than you can with just a smile.

It'll be strange seeing people who are 3645 years old...

I imagine he meant properly. No offense to anyone who'd taken that treatment, but it's not exactly...fully...functional.

You'll have a while to get used to the idea.

As far as I know this "reversed aging" doesn't let you live longer. The mice still died at their regular age, it's just they acted younger when they were older. There will be no 3000 year old people

No 3000yr old people yet! If I still die at 80, but die feeling like I'm only 30 then I'll be happy! Chances are, if you feel younger then there's a good chance you'll be more active which could extend your life naturally in that manner.

If you read the article fully, i'm sure you saw the science behind it? During the process of mitosis, a 'buffer' gets damaged as the cell splits, and each time the buffer gets smaller until the cell can't divide anymore, and you eventually don't have enough cells and die.. The treatment restores the buffers, therefore you live longer.

Ah well, I guess that idea's for the future. But at least I'm still 3000 years old mentally.

As far as I can make up from the article, yes we will live longer, but in the end, the non splitting cells ( braincells etc. ) will die, so you will live a little longer, but still no 3000 years

I'm sure that's already possible, right?
