FPSCX10 cannot work with chipsets.

I reject your stereotype of Wisconsin and, in fact, live in a city.

I dont understand why people buy x10 without searching if they can run it first. You dont buy a videogame without checking if you can run it, right?

I have the same problem when I have update the software. When I reinsrall the software it works fine with v1.00. I think that windows 7 uses directx 11 and the software supports directx 10 only. However in v1.00 when I boot the software up with v1.00, windows goes onto a different version. The reason I know this is because the colour scheme changes and I can't use some of the features such as Windows Aero. I think that it goes in Windows 7 Basic version, which works with directx 10 programs with no problem. It did say in the system requirements that it has many bugs with directx 11 but it works with Windows 7. They would probably was using v1.00 when publishing the system requirements.

My suggestion? Invest in a good graphics card like a nvidia 9800GT and have at least 3gb in RAM and then it should work fine.

Mass Effect 2 is better than everything else

Hello,
I am new to this the creation of computer games but I understand and the three GB of RAM would be sufficient.
I have the same problem, and also use the W7 64Bits, I have a GeForce 9600GT NVIDEA and follow me out the same error.
Does anyone know a solution to this?

WELL IF YOU DO NOT HAVE X10.1 GRAPHICS DRIVER THEN IT WILL NOT WORK PAST VERSION 5, AND YOU HAVE TO GET IT TO VERSION 11.1 OF THE FPSCX10 UPDATES, THEN ADD MATURE PATCH FOR BLOOD AND RAGDOLL,

IN ORDER
1. DOWNLOAD X10.1 FROM MICROSOFT
2. INSTALL DIRECT DRIVE X10.1 ONTO YOUR COMPUTER
3. INSTALL FPSC X10
4. UPDATE THIS UP TO ITS 11.1 UPDATE. (WHICH IS AUTOMATIC)
5. INSTALL YOUR BLOOD AND RAGDOLL PATCHES WHICH YOU GET FROM YOUR ACCOUNT

IF YOU FOLLOW THESE STEPS THEN IT SHOULD WORK FINE

BUT IF YOU HAVE A LAME GRAPHICS CARD BUY A NEW ONE AS THIS CREATOR NEEDS ONE NVIDIA 8800GTS SHOULD BE GOOD AND AS SUGGESTED ABOVE GO FOR TOP END OF WHICH RANGE YOU CAN

I.E.

HD5770 GOOD

HD5200 BAD

INT CHIPSET NO GOOD
HD5850 EXCELLENT ( MINE)
ANY GTX460 AND UP BRILLIANT

IN OTHER WORDS IM SAYING [b] IF YOU BUY FPSC X10 BUY A DECENT TOP END CARD OR YOUR WASTING YOUR MONEY. IT IS WORTH IT!

HOPE THIS HELPS

an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!
