Hey all,

I've been trying to doing a song in the style of French House, and this is what I've got so far. Does anyone like it?

It's an extreme work in progress and still has a long ways to go, but I think it's a decent start. Just imagine Tron while listening to it

A great start, Jeku. My wife and two-year-old like it as well. Reminds us of another, but can't put my finger on it at the moment.

Wow, you're the second person I've seen on this forum from Chilliwack. We're almost neighbours

We remembered what it reminded us of. Need for Speed 3- a few tracks (Aquilla/Atlantica/Empire City). That's what came to our mind at first, but I can envision Tron as well. Either way, we all enjoyed it. Mind you , we listen to all types of electronic/techno/instrumental. Our kids love it. Do you do this for a living? We're always looking to buy more music like this to add to our collective.

Except the drive makes it seem like you're crossing the province sometimes.

I have been here since 1990; I am originally from Alberta.

I wish I've been working on music for almost 20 years, just in my spare time, with the odd 3-4 year breaks. Lately I've been listening to a lot of French House music (Deadmau5, Justice, Mr. Oizo, Daft Punk, etc.) which is inspiring me to try my hand at it.

Glad you enjoy it!

Commander Tom is another of our favorites, along with Daft Punk, DJ ream, DJ Ruthless & Vorwerk, Head Hunterz, and quite a few others. Yours seem to fit right in there with the best of them. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Nothing like cranking music like ours and feeling the townhouse shake.

Cool, I haven't heard of some of those artists... I'll take a look at those! I lived in Abbotsford for about 11 years so I had lots of friends from Chilliwack. It's a nice place
