Ive recently made a self discovery wanted to share with everyone for insight. Ive noticed lately my posts have become very passionate. At first I thought it might be my new career path in writting profesionaly. But then I realized, Ive allways been a good writter in the past, but it comes and goes. However, this time is seems to be sticking. So before I lose the gift again lol I'd like to discuss age and wisdom.

We all know the saying about with age comes wisdom. But is this true? Well Ive noticed like I said before my writting is improving drasticaly. So I think in theory as we get older, we open our minds up to a deeper thought process. In retrospec age allows up to be more expressive in deep thought. Then we process the information clearer and our able to write it out. Were as before in our younger years, we were not able to clearly process the deep thought and produces cloudy writtings.

A deeper look into the theory, I think as younger adults we focus alot on dare I say sexual thoughts rather then meaningful thoughts. As young adults we prmarly focus on the oppsite sex and tend to seek a mate. As were older adults have a mate allready and no longer need to focus on such things as desire or temptation and other selfish thoughts.

So in theory as we grow older i think we can conclude our minds our more focussed on what is truely important in life. Allowing us to make better judgements and better decessions. Enabling us to operate and funtion more clearer. Which in respect to age may seem like we our wiser but in reality, were just more focussed.

What is your guys thoughts?

We just learn from experiences, whatever they are good to bad they all shape a person.

I disagree. Some people never learn from mistakes or choose to age well. I think obtaining wisdom deals with a much deeper reason for learning. An thus the point of the post. To discovery and discuss how we truely age and gain wisdom over time.

When I was younger I too thought it was just from experiance. But consider the idea of people who do not have any life experiances. Perhapps someone trapped on a deserted Island. After a short period of time, you know the lands and nothing more to learn from exp. So how do they contenue to grow in age with wisdom?

So we've got a nazi reference, implied-womanizing and homophobia in one post

I think different people grow up at different times. To me there seems to be four stages of life: Needing guidance, fun, responsibility, senile. In that order. And the rate at which you travel through each one varies person to person. Unfortunately I seemed to skip the fun part, and straight on to the tired old sod part.

I don't see the nazi reference or the homophobia. Am I missing something? Those are words that he lives by, but it doesn't say anything about being homophobic. Just because he doesn't like guys?

Yes, his post was sleazy and immature, but that's about it.

Depends does he mean

Every goal in any life

or

Every goal in his life.

If you're a heterosexual aiming for goals on somebody of matching gender, then you're doing it wrong.

Not sure about the Nazism. His other quote is Friedrick Nietzsche, who died before Nazism existed.

Where I think what he meant by that was that he doesn't concentrate on what is ethically or morally right for everyone (in the nicest possible way I suppose) but can easily be misconstrued as "I don't care about race or religion and will stomp on anything in my way."

..wait they are pretty much the same thing.

Either way I usually find that anyone who says 'every hole is a goal' usually hasn't dived into that hole (if you catch my drift ) and usually hasn't matured enough to realise that its not a cool thing to say. As for the confirmation that it wouldn't be a dude he'd be mining, my ex (who was a psychiatrist) would say that what lies underneath is a growing insecurity in sexuality and a strong sense to appeal to a certain social demographic.

But who knows?
